Upon reading the posts here it seemed that everyone has their own different problems but in some ways they have similarities too.<br />My agency submitted my application for FSW Nov 6 of last year 2009. Until now I still don&#39;t have any reply from CIO. I am currently here in Ontario on a working permit which will be expiring Oct of this year. When I called Citizenship Immigration Canada they checked if I have a data there but there wasn&#39;t. So I tried their online services. And I saw my file, but what shocked me is the date that they received my application. They received it March 5, 2010. I was informed by my agency that it would take 8-12 weeks for them give a positive or negative assessment. That&#39;s why I was already expecting a reply from them starting January to February. And I found out that my papers were received by CIO-Sydney by March. So I waited in vain at that time because they haven&#39;t actually received my papers yet. Do you have any idea what happened? I don&#39;t want to doubt the integrity of my agency all I just wanted to know, why did it took 4 months for my papers to reach CIO? so on top of my 4 months wait. I need to wait again for another 8-12 weeks starting March for their positive reply? Am I right Sir Jay? Actually Citizenship Immigration Canada said to me it only take 10 weeks for the reply to be sent. And they are now processing March 2010 applications. Pls give me advice on what to do, coz I fear that things will screw up again. Because I hurried in saving the money for filing fee and the downpayment for the agency and gathering my documents coz I don&#39;t want to waste time. That&#39;s why I was upset when I found out that CIO only received my file March 2010 considering my agency told me that they submitted it Nov 6, 2009. But your filing fee will be refunded.
